Natalya Jarrous earned Top Performer at the Nevada Freshman Showcase, August 8, 2026.   Natalya's court communication is one of the first things that stands out when you watch her play. She brings excellent hustle on every ball, staying low to the ground and ready to move in any direction. Her platform is firm and repeatable, which gives her passing a level of consistency coaches look for in a back row player. She reads the game well and gets to balls that a lot of defenders her age would let drop. Her overall passing was solid throughout the day, and her habits point to a defender who takes the position seriously.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Scarlett Powers earned Top Performer at the Nevada Freshman Showcase, August 8, 2026.   Scarlett plays with an excellent platform that stays consistent under pressure. Her court communication is a real strength, and she runs the back row with the kind of confidence that comes from understanding the position. She moves with speed, getting into position early rather than reaching late for the ball. She stays communicative with her teammates throughout the point, directing traffic and keeping her defense organized. Jazlynn brings a strong serve that puts pressure on opposing passers right away. She is very good on service receive, and that same discipline shows up in her platform on defense. She moves her feet well, getting her body in front of the ball rather than relying on her arms alone. Her hands are a strength out of system, where she is able to control tough digs and keep the ball playable. Vala's communication on the court stands out right away, and she uses it to direct her teammates around her. She shows strong court sense, understanding where she needs to be and getting there with purpose. She takes control of her position and plays like a leader on the defensive side of the ball. That leadership shows up in how her teammates respond to her, following her direction during live play. Brianna stayed supportive of her teammates no matter the score, which says a lot about her mindset on the court. She fought for every ball no matter how difficult the play, keeping balls alive that a lot of defenders would let go. She kept the ball up in situations where it would have been easy to give up on the point. Her positivity never wavered throughout the day, and she stayed vocal cheering on her teammates from the back row. Maxim moves with speed, getting to spots on the court that a lot of defenders would not reach in time. Her court communication is great, and she stays vocal throughout the match to help organize her back row. She plays with an awareness of where the ball is likely to go, which allows her movement to look more efficient than reactive. She brings a steady presence to the defensive side of the ball.
