Top Performing Outside Hitters: SoCal Showcase

Layla Marquez named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Freshman Showcase, Irvine, Ca.   Layla Marquez was one of the most impressive attackers in the gym. She combined a heavy arm with true power, attacking confidently from multiple situations and proving she could impact the match in a variety of ways. Her versatility allowed her to score from different areas of the court, while her commanding court presence made her impossible to ignore. She competed with relentless aggression throughout the showcase, attacking confidently and encouraging teammates at every opportunity. Her combination of power, intensity, and leadership made her one of the most memorable athletes in the gym.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Jaycie Schnake named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Freshman Showcase, Irvine, Ca.   Jaycie Schnake was one of the premier attackers of the showcase. A true powerhouse outside hitter, she attacked with purpose and intelligence, choosing smart placements instead of relying solely on power. One of her standout weapons was her ability to score out of the back row, demonstrating an effective BIC attack that added another dimension to her offensive game. She covered well after swings, blocked with disciplined technique, and contributed in every phase of the game, including passing, serving, and attacking. Her complete all-around game made her one of the top freshmen in attendance.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     CC Guy named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Freshman Showcase, Irvine, Ca.   CC Guy was one of the showcase's most complete competitors. She attacked with power, adjusted seamlessly to different situations, and emerged as a vocal leader on the floor. Despite being surrounded by talented freshmen, she consistently stood out with her presence, confidence, and leadership.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Elle Binn named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Sophomore ID Camp, Irvine, Ca.   Elle Binn brought an aggressive offensive presence to the court with a heavy arm that consistently challenged opposing defenses. She paired her physicality with contagious energy, competing with enthusiasm and helping elevate the intensity of those around her. She aggressively pursued every ball, finished attacks confidently, and consistently celebrated teammates with positive communication and encouragement. Her enthusiasm and effort stood out as much as her offensive production.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Misk Youssef named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Freshman Showcase, Irvine, Ca.   Misk Youssef showcased an aggressive attacking mentality, swinging hard throughout the showcase. She wasn't afraid to take big swings and consistently looked to score, making her an offensive threat whenever she was involved in the play. She competed aggressively from start to finish, attacking every ball with confidence and defending fearlessly at the net and in the backcourt.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Sicily Churchill named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Sophomore ID Camp, Irvine, Ca.   Sicily Churchill showed the mentality to work through the competition, and once she got going, she was hard for opposing players to stop. She showed a great swing and played smart in situations where swinging wasn't the right option, finding tips to be effective instead. Her blocking stood out as well, getting touches that slowed the ball down and even shut down the opposition outright.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Brooklynn Dunn named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Sophomore ID Camp, Irvine, Ca.   Brooklynn Dunn was the emotional leader of her team. She anchored the defense with high energy, brought teammates together after every point, and consistently displayed excellent volleyball instincts and leadership.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Rae Lyons named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Sophomore ID Camp, Irvine, Ca.   Rae Lyons' effort never wavered. She consistently made herself available on every ball, refused to quit on plays, and maintained an outstanding attitude regardless of the score or outcome.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Olivia Kiburtz named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Sophomore ID Camp, Irvine, Ca.   Olivia Kiburtz showcased a strong, controlled swing with excellent hustle. She constantly communicated with teammates, helping organize the defense while bringing a steady, composed presence throughout the match.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Olivia Eastburn named Top Performing Outside Hitter at 7/31/26 SoCal Sophomore ID Camp, Irvine, Ca.
