About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High intensity! I am a very competitive athlete, always looking for the next shot and always calling for the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I thrive best around my teammates and I take pride in cheering them on, both on and off the court. Community means everything to me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Through Encore Volleyball Club I am a member of a group sponsored by the Lemo Foundation that does community service projects, receives on site tutoring, and visits bay area tech companies lead by women. We have frequent guest speakers that give us insight into what it takes to be in leadership roles in their field of work.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was recently chosen to be on the Teen Council for Beyond the Court through the Lemo Foundation. We work with our Lemo and industry mentor to plan and organize fundraising and community service projects for the foundation.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed legally blind in my right eye when I was in preschool. Since then, I have worked really hard on vision therapy, and since 2025 it is no longer medically necessary to wear glasses (although I still wear contacts). With my visual impairment, I had to learn to adjust to everyday life and especially sports.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am willing to go out of state, to a D1 college where I can actively play. I want the complete college experience including a large football, ice hockey and basketball following. Close to cities and public transportation. Moderate temperatures, four seasons.

I figured the hitter was going to hit line… and I ended up being right.

She also contributes through communication, helping her team stay composed and focused during key stretches.

Her continued work on expanding her offensive range, especially with sharper cross-court swings, is adding another dimension to her game.
