Mussell (*pictured) is well ahead of her 2025 pace that saw her season average at 6.7 d/m. Setting a new career high of 30 digs in Clyde's opening match of the season in 2026, she has since surpassed that with a 34 digs effort in their 3-2 win over Bowling Green. With three other matches picking up over 20 digs, she is currently leading the 2028 class defensively in total digs while averaging 21.6. Mussell's effort includes good angle production as she has reacts well on defense to find ways to dig high and off the net to allow her setter to distribute their offense.

Allen's stock has steadily risen over the past couple of cycles as she is now in a groove as a veteran for Napolean following a breakout sophomore season a year ago. Her movement and mechanics have become more efficient as her impact has jumped significantly to a career best average of 22.3 d/m. She is quick with her reactionswith good emergency skills to increase her range. With 32 digs in their 3-1 win over Wauseon back in August, Allen provided a massive effort of 43 digs in Napolean's recent 3-2 win over Fairview last week. The Wildcats are 3-4 overall to start the 2026 season.

Hubert's 21.6 d/m average is among the best in Ohio regardless of class. The Avon Lake star has earned double-digit digs in every match this season, with five of them delivery 20 or more digs. She has twice earned her season high fo 27 digs in a single match. The quality of her first-touch action is efficient in how she tracks and pursues the ball, whether in serve-receive or digging as her quickness helps her cover a lot of court. Hubert is also a force at the service line as she has 24 aces, including nine in a single match near the start of the season.

Yates played in a reserve role for Utica a season ago. Her effort so far in 2026 is a breakout experience as she is making a huge impact for her team through their 3-3 start. Per set, she current leads the 2028 class at a clip of 7.1 digs with an overall average of 26.3 d/m. At 5'3, she patrols the back row with good connection to point flow to find and fill space to make the read and react with whatever his needed to keep the ball off the ground. Over 20 digs in all of one match this season, her career best output most recently happened as she earned 36 digs in a 3-1 loss to Johnstown-Monroe.

Dublin Coffman is 6-1 behind a balanced offense that starts with good core defense to create opportunities to score. Brennan leads the Rocks this season with an increased impact overall as her per match numbers have made a nice jump to 14.8 d/m. She established a new career high of 28 digs in their only loss of the season, which was a 3-2 outcome to a solid team in unbeaten Olentangy. Brennan returned to the fall season following a production club effort that helped improve her efficiency and range of contributions for her team.
