Except for set two, when the Tigers struggled as a team, the junior outside hitter kept her level of play elevated throughout the entire match. Ross did very well offensively, scoring at a good rate from the pin and the middle back position - she showed great firepower to overcome or tool opposing blocks and excellent vision to score off tips and shots. The junior middle was very effective offensively, making contact with the ball at a high point and firing some serious swings to put the ball down. Miller was at her best when hitting the slide set, combining excellent footwork to move to the ball and a very quick arm to hit past opposing blockers. The junior did a great job of keeping all her hitters involved and demonstrated a great feel for the game, using each of them at the right times. Paxton forced some balls in the middle in transition that caught opponents off guard and got her hitters in great positions to score. Her shot selection was always on point, and she showed enough firepower to overcome blockers and solid vision to place her shots into open spots. Williams made contact with the ball at a very high point and was very efficient with the placement of her swings.
