The approach is clean and fluid, the timing is precise, and the length she brings to the pin makes the contact point she reaches genuinely difficult for opposing blockers to account for across a full match. She is an offensive threat from every position on the court and her teammates go into every rally knowing that when the ball comes to her side it is a point waiting to happen. Long and lean with the athletic tools to be an immediate contributor at the next level, she carries the kind of quiet confidence in her game that does not need to announce itself because the ball hitting the floor does it for her. She is a junior with another full year of development still ahead of her, and the player she is going to be when she steps on a college campus is already visible in what she showed today.

Redondo Union is a senior-laden team competing at one of the highest levels this tournament has to offer and [player_tooltip player_id='765027' first='Fia' last='So'oto'] walked into that environment as a sophomore and announced herself like she had been there for years. The physical frame she brings to the outside hitter position is already formidable, generating natural power at contact that the ball genuinely feels when she unloads on it. What made her stand out beyond the physical tools was the attitude. She is not intimidated by anyone on the other side of the net and the fearlessness she plays with gives her a competitive edge that coaches spend years trying to develop in players and rarely succeed in manufacturing. Doing this as the newcomer in a lineup full of experienced upperclassmen only sharpens what she showed today, because that environment demands you earn every point you produce. She has the confidence of a leader and the frame of a future major recruit and the next few years of her development are going to be very interesting to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='892968' first='Luhanna' last='Panta'] was one of the fiercest defenders on the floor at the Durango Classic today and the word that keeps coming back when describing her game is relentless. She reads the play before the hitter ever contacts the ball, which means she is almost never scrambling because she is already where the ball is going. When attacks deflect off the block into unpredictable angles her teammates know to look for her, because getting on the floor without hesitation to save a ball that most liberos have already written off is simply what she does. The fast-twitch muscle quality she brings to emergency defensive situations is exceptional, allowing her to react and change direction at a speed that routinely bails her team out of situations that look terminal. She is a senior coming out of one of the most decorated programs in the country, and the defensive habits and competitive toughness she has built inside Lone Peak's championship culture show up in everything she does on the floor. Programs that need a libero they can count on in the highest pressure moments of a match need to be calling her.

As always stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at Michael@prepdig.com. You can also DM me in Instagram and X by searching @CoachMikeDZ. Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends. Help us help them by simply reposting on X or sharing on Facebook. Thanks for following us, Prep Dig Family! Don't be afraid to interact with us. We love the likes, shares, and quotes/comments. Keep them coming!
