Under The Radar Heroines On Top 3A Teams

Yes, they might not <em>truly</em> be under the radar, since their teams are THAT good, but still have what it takes to catch the eyes of college recruiters from all divisions. Today's edition does the same job, but digs a little deeper. In Indiana, there are SO many of them, and they all do basically the same jobs over and over again. In Lora's case, doing the extra stuff is what's keeping the Vikings in the top five in 3A, after moving up from 2A last fall. Similar in skill set to Lora above, Madelyn's ability to receive serve, defend the floor, pick up the junk of off-speed shots and make an impact in multiple areas of the game are what make her indispensable. She's exploded on the scene and, after a highly successful spring season, has moved up an age group to play for Team Indiana this coming club year. That being said, when you are as tall and strong as Miss Manos is, it is definitely difficult to fly under the volleyball radar. In her case, she's doing things in the middle for the Pioneers that allow the pin attackers to do their thing. Like the others on this list, her absence would definitely be felt in spirit and in the stats. Tops in blocks and second in kills and hitting percentage has helped them stay at #1 in 3A for a few weeks now, and their win over 4A southern Indiana power Floyd Central last night proves that Providence is here to win this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
