While I have primarily watched her play in the middle and right side, this season she has taken on a six rotation outside hitter role for Westby...and she doesn't look the least bit out of place. In fact, she looks like the glue for Westby, bringing the versatility, consistency, and leadership that keeps this team going. She was controlled, terminal, and solid in her all around game on the day and it clearly has been that way all season. Snodgrass currently leads Westby with 2.7 kills per set and ranks second on the team with 3.2 digs per set, proving just how valuable she is on both sides of the ball.

I had the opportunity to watch Schwarz during last club season and was glad I was able to see her again in La Crosse yesterday. Playing as a six rotation outside hitter, she showed her versatility and ability to find ways to get the job done. With her height and strength, Schwarz is comfortable taking a number of serve receive balls with her hands and did so consistently. When in system, she can deliver a powerful attack, but what has impressed me is how much she has developed her shot selection. She is learning to mix up her swings and find openings in the defense.
