Minneota is always a powerhouse on the volleyball court and this season is no exception. It should come as no surprise that middle blocker Coequyt is leading the pack in Minnesota with an incredible .540 hitting percentage. Averaging 2.6 kills per set, she has been remarkably efficient at the net, consistently finding ways to put the ball away while limiting errors. A hitting percentage that high is impressive at any position and speaks to her ability to make smart decisions and capitalize on her opportunities.

Zubich is a young middle blocker who has all the tools needed to become a dominant force at the net. She has the height, power, and quick arm swing that make her a natural offensive threat, but what really stands out is how intelligently she plays the game. Zubich has excellent court vision and does a great job of reading what is in front of her, allowing her to make smart decisions with her attacks. That combination of physical ability and smart shot selection makes her a difficult middle to defend. Her numbers back that up, as she is averaging 2 kills per set while hitting at an impressive .382 hitting percentage. For a young player, that level of offensive efficiency is especially impressive and makes Zubich an exciting middle to watch as she continues to develop her game.

I recently had the opportunity to catch up with Halvorson and watch her in action again, and it was impressive to see just how much she has developed into a dynamic offensive threat. She gets up well at the net, has a powerful arm swing, and does an excellent job of seeing the court and recognizing where the openings are. She has really become a smart, calculated attacker who knows how to use her athleticism and court vision to her advantage. With 341 kills and an average of 4 kills per set, Halvorson has established herself as a consistent offensive weapon.

Hackel is a physical and dynamic attacker who has the ability to terminate from anywhere along the front row. Whether she is attacking from the left, middle, or right, her timing is excellent, allowing her to get up and take aggressive swings from all three positions. She has impressive range and does a great job of seeing the court, whether that means finding the line, attacking an open seam, or placing the ball into an uncovered area of the defense. She doesn't need to be in one specific position to be effective, and her combination of power, timing, and shot selection keeps opposing blockers and defenders guessing. Her production speaks for itself, as she has racked up 319 kills this season, averaging an impressive 4 kills per set.

I had the opportunity to watch Nagel in action last weekend, and it is easy to see why she is one of the more productive and efficient attackers in the state. She is a strong, physical outside hitter with an impressive vertical and a powerful arm swing that makes her difficult to defend. One of the things that stands out about Nagel is her ability to adjust to just about any set that comes her way. Whether the ball is tight, off the net, or not quite where she wants it, she has the athleticism and body control to make adjustments and still take an aggressive swing. With 240 kills on the season, averaging 3.4 kills per set, she has proven to be a consistent offensive threat.
