Blanke soared onto our radar late in the 2026 club season as she put up a wall at the net for her Nebraska Elite crew. She has enjoyed similar returns with Omaha Westview. This sophomore leads the Wolverines in blocks by a wide margin, anchoring the team's pin-to-pin defense. We expected this year's Westview squad to be anchored by 2029s, but Blanke's growth has added to the narrative even more.

Here's another late stock riser from the spring. Dowdy's persistent onslaught on the pin helped VCNebraska 15 Black clinch a GJNC berth, and this high-flying attacker hasn't slowed down since. She has logged 2.4 kills per set to help Lincoln Christian post some of its best results in the past several years. Better yet, Dowdy's positional versatility has flourished between her tenures with VCNebraska and LCS. She'll readily terminate on either side of the setter.

Lipp earned some valuable starting reps as a freshman, but she's a full-fledged go-to attacker in Year 2. She has soared past the century mark in kills while averaging a team-best 0.252 hitting percentage. Team success has followed, with Wayne earning an 18-8 mark to ascend the Class C1 wildcard race. Lipp's crosscourt heat in the middle and on the left will keep the Blue Devils in postseason contention.

This name has been in our 2029 database for a while. Frerichs tested her mettle as a starting freshman, but her output and efficiency have skyrocketed a year later. She has amassed three kills per set on a 0.208 clip, giving the Coyotes a new influx of frontcourt firepower. This has allowed Potter-Dix to surpass last year's win total while wielding a young lineup that will largely stay together next year. Frerichs will be a focal point of that year-over-year development.

Centura is back at it again. How could we not fixate on the Centurions' cast of stars as this Class C2 crew roars to a 26-1 record? Taukiuvea has tied everything together at the setter spot, dishing out 10.2 assists per set to build upon her outstanding freshman production. This sophomore's on-court prowess is not limited to her second contacts, either. Taukiuvea has a tremendous feel for covering her hitters in out-of-system situations--an underappreciated trait among setters.

Much like Omaha Westview, Valentine has received extraordinary contributions from the Class of 2029. Belville has piloted the sophomore revolution, averaging 10.6 assists per set to rank among Nebraska's top setters in any age group. The Badgers have leaned on their explosive offense to kickstart one of the program's best seasons in recent memory. Belville will ensure the climb doesn't stop in 2026.

We shouldn't be surprised to see Guardian Angels Central Catholic on this feature. The Bluejays have been a fixture in the postseason picture for the past few years, and athletes like Wegner deserve a lot of credit for this consistency. GACC's lineup is loaded with high-impact 2028s, but Wegner has become one of the key exceptions from the 2029 pack. This sophomore libero makes decisive reads on tip shots and can deliver perfect transition digs to the setter. Wegner isn't satisfied with merely racking up numbers. Her contacts lead to instant offensive success.

Our next Nebraska 2029 update won't be solely for shuffling the rankings. We also have new athletes like Wroblewski who deserve a spot in our sophomore database. This Ravenna standout has anchored the Bluejay defense since her early days as a freshman. She has grown even more influential in Year 2, piling up nearly six digs per set to propel herself up the 2029 hierarchy. Small-town stars are clearly capturing our attention among Nebraska's fast-rising underclassmen.
