<p>Urbandale had a strong, well-played match against Marshalltown and managed to come out on top with three tight sets (25-19, 25-21, 27-25). Although they had a great game and advanced to the next round, the J-Hawks now have to face off against 27-2, #1-ranked Waukee Northwest on Thursday. </p>

Although her team didn't have the record they wanted, that didn't stop her from giving it her all each and every game. She has already shown clean ball control and consistent placement, and still has so much room to grow. I am excited to see how she continues to contribute over the next 3 years.</p>

<p>Next up, we have another incredibly close match, and DSM Lincoln took down DSM Roosevelt in four sets (26-24, 25-21, 24-26, 25-23). Two standout players included [player_tooltip player_id='814620' first='Jumi' last='Kayode'], who got it done at the net, leading in kills and blocks. Libby Pauley managed to lead her offense to success and led the team in assists as well as aces. DSM Lincoln will now be heading to DCG to face off against the Mustangs on Thursday.</p>

Not only is she an incredibly skilled athlete, but she is also a fantastic leader for the J-Hawks. She knows how to push them, when they need reassurance, and give them the confidence to find success, even in the toughest matches.</p>
