With the regular season winding down, seniors across Arizona are making sure their final high school season is one to remember. From huge offensive numbers to dominant defensive performances and all-around production, these athletes are stepping up when their teams need them most. As postseason play gets closer and every match carries a little more weight, here are 10 seniors making noise down the stretch and putting together some impressive numbers along the way.

*Please note stats change daily and at the time of writing this is where everyones stats stood at the time.

[player_tooltip player_id='881806' first='Hailey' last='Johnston'] has put together an impressive season at Hamilton, and while the Huskies are loaded with firepower, Johnston is the brains behind the operation. She has totaled 798 assists this season, ranking her second among seniors and third overall in the state of Arizona. With so many offensive weapons at her disposal, Johnston has done an excellent job managing the offense and putting her hitters in positions to be successful.

What stands out about Johnston is her ability to run a balanced floor. Hamilton has legitimate termination options across the net, but having weapons only matters if you have a setter capable of utilizing them. Johnston understands when to establish her middles, when to push the tempo to the pins, and when to go back to the hitter who has the hot hand. Her decision-making keeps opposing blockers guessing and allows Hamilton's offense to stay aggressive.

She also brings a level of composure that is important for a team with postseason aspirations. Johnston doesn't need to be the player taking the big swing to have a massive influence on the outcome of a rally. Her location, tempo, and ability to make smart choices in transition are often what create those opportunities in the first place.

Nearly 800 assists at this point in the season speaks volumes about both her consistency and the responsibility she carries within this offense. Hamilton may have plenty of players capable of putting the ball away, but Johnston is the one connecting all the pieces—and her ability to command the floor has made her one of the most productive senior setters in Arizona this season.

Arguably one of the most impressive seniors we've watched during the high school season, [player_tooltip player_id='889790' first='Lillie' last='Duitsman'] has truly outdone herself across the board this year. The first thing that jumps out when you watch her compete is her athleticism. Her vertical and explosiveness allow her to play well above the net, and when she gets a good approach behind the ball, she has the ability to terminate with authority. She plays aggressively, embraces being a go-to option, and has continued to produce even with opponents knowing exactly how dangerous she can be.

Her numbers back it up. She currently ranks seventh among seniors and 10th overall in the state of Arizona with 256 kills, bringing her career total to an impressive 1,166 kills. Reaching that level of career production requires more than athleticism—it speaks to the consistency she has shown throughout her high school career and her ability to continue finding ways to score as defenses adjust to her. What makes her senior season even more impressive is how complete her game has become. She has added 32 aces, 25 blocks, and 132 digs, impacting matches in nearly every phase. She can create pressure from behind the service line, use that explosiveness to make an impact on the block, and then turn around and contribute defensively in the back row.

She has developed into the total package for her squad—a six-rotation presence who can lead through both production and competitiveness. Whether she's terminating from the pin, making a defensive play, putting up a block, or applying pressure from the service line, she finds ways to affect the match. With the postseason approaching, she's exactly the type of experienced senior you want leading the way.

[player_tooltip player_id='848347' first='Aniah' last='Brown'] continues to make a huge impact for Verrado, and her efficiency at the net immediately stands out. Brown is currently hitting an impressive .453 on the season, showing just how reliable she has been when given an opportunity to score. She makes smart decisions, takes advantage of good matchups, and has become an option Verrado can trust to produce without giving away unnecessary points.

She's been equally impactful on the defensive side of the net. Brown has recorded 66 blocks this season, ranking her sixth among seniors and 11th overall in the state of Arizona. She brings a strong presence to Verrado's block, does a great job getting her hands across the net, and can take away space from opposing attackers while creating opportunities for the defense behind her.

One of our favorite things about watching Brown, though, is her versatility. During club season, we watched her step outside of her traditional position and fill a role on the pin, showing that she has the athleticism and skill set to contribute in more than one spot. Now back in the middle for her high school season, she has settled right back into a position where she can dominate.

That experience on the outside only adds another layer to her game. Brown understands what pin hitters are trying to do, moves well laterally, and brings an attacker's mentality to the middle. Between her .453 hitting percentage, 66 blocks, and ability to adapt to whatever role her team needs, Brown has proven herself to be much more than a traditional middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='807367' first='Sophia' last='Frandsen'] has been lights out for Thunderbird this season, playing a major role in helping the Chiefs earn their current No. 4 ranking. Frandsen has been a consistent offensive weapon throughout her senior campaign, currently ranking sixth among seniors and eighth overall in the state of Arizona with 264 kills to date. That production brings her career total to around an impressive 1,200 kills, highlighting just how much of an impact she has made throughout her time at Thunderbird.

Frandsen is the type of attacker who can shoulder a significant offensive load. She plays with confidence, brings plenty of power from the pin, and has the experience to find ways to score even when defenses know the ball is coming her way. As a senior, she has become a reliable go-to option who can provide Thunderbird with a much-needed termination in big moments.

But Frandsen's value doesn't end when she rotates into the back row. She's added 143 digs this season, showing that she can remain an asset regardless of where she is on the court. She stays involved defensively, works hard in transition, and gives Thunderbird another experienced player capable of extending rallies and creating additional opportunities for the offense.

With nearly 1,200 career kills and a Thunderbird team positioned to make some noise down the stretch, Frandsen is putting the finishing touches on an impressive high school career. Her ability to contribute in multiple rotations, combined with the offensive production she has consistently provided, makes her a senior worth keeping an eye on as postseason play approaches.

The 2A “small-school” label means very little when it comes to the level of play [player_tooltip player_id='808979' first='Mackenzie' last='Benso'] brings to the court. She has established herself as one of the top defensive players in Arizona, regardless of classification. Benso currently sits fourth among seniors and sixth overall in the state with 357 digs, pushing her career total to an impressive 1,200 digs. Her impact goes well beyond that number. Benso has also totaled 40 aces and 38 assists this season, finding multiple ways to contribute and create opportunities for her team.

What really separates Benso, though, is her court presence. She takes up space in the back row—not just physically with her range, but with her voice and leadership. Her communication is consistently above and beyond, helping organize the defense and making sure the players around her know exactly what she sees developing.

Benso is also incredibly loyal in coverage. She works hard behind her hitters, anticipates where blocked and tipped balls are likely to fall, and refuses to give up on a play. That combination of defensive instincts, communication, effort, and consistency is exactly why her production translates far beyond the 2A level. Twelve hundred career digs don't happen by accident, and Benso continues to show why she belongs among the state's best defensive players as she closes out her senior season

[player_tooltip player_id='888558' first='Adelyn' last='Chang'] continues to be a huge piece of what keeps Corona competitive, using her quick tempo, smart decision-making, and ability to run an offense with confidence. Her command of the floor has been apparent for years, and it continues to be one of our favorite parts of watching her compete. Chang understands how to distribute the ball, recognizes what the defense is giving her, and knows when it's time to lean on her go-to options.

The numbers show just how productive she has been. Chang currently sits sixth in her class in assists and 11th overall in the state of Arizona with 528 assists to date. But she's far from a one-dimensional setter. She has also contributed 30 aces, 16 blocks, and 113 digs, showing her ability to impact the game in multiple rotations. Her connection with her middles is especially fun to watch. Chang isn't afraid to establish the middle and run a quick offense, which forces opposing blockers to stay disciplined and creates opportunities for her pins. She does a great job recognizing who has the hot hand and putting her hitters in positions to be successful, particularly when points get tight.

Chang also brings plenty to the defensive side of the ball. She competes hard on defense, works at the net as a blocker, and can turn a defensive play into an offensive opportunity quickly. Her combination of court awareness, tempo, consistency, and decision-making makes her much more than someone simply accumulating assists. She truly runs the floor, and her ability to control an offense has been a major part of Corona's competitiveness this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='888921' first='Kenzie' last='Maldonado']'s physicality can catch teams off guard, and once she gets going, she can be extremely difficult to slow down. She's currently sitting as a stat leader for kills in the state of Arizona with 327 to date. Her ability to jump over most blocks allows her to challenge even well-formed blocks, but she isn't relying on athleticism alone. Maldonado sees the court incredibly well and has the offensive range to attack nearly any spot. She can beat a block with power, find the deep corners, work the seams, or make an adjustment when the defense takes away her first option.

That athleticism doesn't disappear when she rotates to the back row, either. Maldonado has a wicked back-row attack that keeps her involved offensively in all six rotations and gives her team another legitimate scoring option from behind the ten-foot line. She transitions quickly and approaches with the same intent and power she brings at the net, making it difficult for defenses to ever truly get a break from her.

What makes Maldonado even more impressive is that her impact extends well beyond attacking. She's a strong defender who covers a lot of court, reads the play well, and isn't afraid to get after difficult balls. Her combination of physicality, vertical, offensive range, and defensive ability makes her a true six-rotation threat. She can change a rally from either row and showed throughout the weekend that there are very few areas of the game where she can't make an impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='878908' first='Emma' last='Caldwell'] has been a force at the net this season, and the numbers back it up. According to MaxPreps, Caldwell has already totaled an impressive 106 blocks while hitting .343 offensively. That combination of defensive production and offensive efficiency makes her a major presence in the front row and someone opposing teams have to account for every time she rotates to the net.

Offensively, Caldwell has done a great job developing her connection with her setters, particularly on the 3-ball. She gets up quickly, attacks with purpose, and gives the offense another option that opposing middles have to respect. As that connection has continued to develop, she's become increasingly difficult to track and defend.

Her blocking, though, is where she can completely change a matchup. Caldwell presents a legitimate challenge to any hitter across from her, using her size, timing, and positioning to take away space at the net. Even when she isn't getting the stuff block, she's creating touches and putting up a solid block that allows the defense behind her to make plays. With 106 blocks and a .343 hitting percentage, Caldwell is making an impact on both sides of the ball and putting together an impressive season in the middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='801608' first='Ella' last='Sullivan'] has been an absolute anchor for Red Mountain this season, and her production in the back row speaks for itself. Sitting just shy of 400 digs, Sullivan currently leads the state in the category, showing just how consistently she has been able to keep balls off the floor. She covers a ton of court, reads attackers well, and has become a player Red Mountain can rely on to extend rallies against even the most physical offenses.

Her impact goes well beyond digs. Sullivan has also recorded 62 aces, making her a legitimate weapon from the service line, while adding 49 assists—a number that speaks to how often she is taking second contact and finding ways to keep the offense in system after a difficult play. She isn't just digging the ball; she's creating opportunities for Red Mountain to turn defense into offense.

Sullivan has also been incredibly solid in serve receive, and it's becoming increasingly evident that opponents would rather avoid giving her the first ball altogether. When teams begin changing their serving strategy to keep the ball away from a defender, that says plenty about the level of respect she has earned. Between her serve receive, defensive range, serving pressure, and ability to make plays outside of her primary responsibilities, Sullivan has been one of the most productive back-row players in Arizona this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='877239' first='Shia' last='Chancellor'] is making a statement in her final season at Willow Canyon, and her impact can be seen across multiple areas of the stat sheet. With just shy of 200 kills, 19 blocks, and a .207 hitting percentage, Chancellor continues to be a major offensive presence for a Willow Canyon team that has put together a competitive season. She's also been dangerous from behind the service line, adding 40 aces to her stats.

We've seen just how powerful Chancellor can be throughout her high school career in Arizona, and she's showing no signs of slowing down. Her ability to attack from both pins makes her a difficult matchup and gives Willow Canyon plenty of flexibility offensively. When she gets a good look, she has the physicality to put the ball away, but her game has developed into much more than simply being a powerful attacker.

Chancellor also deserves recognition for the work she does that doesn't always make the stat sheet. She does a great job getting block touches that slow down opposing attacks and give her back-row defense a better opportunity to make a play. Aniah Brown Aniah Brown Aniah Brown 5'10" | MB/RS Verrado | 2027 State AZ continues to make a huge impact for Verrado, and her efficiency at the net immediately stands out.

The 2A “small-school” label means very little when it comes to the level of play Mackenzie Benso Mackenzie Benso Mackenzie Benso 5'7" | DS/L/OH North Valley Christian | 2027 State AZ brings to the court.

Adelyn Chang Adelyn Chang Adelyn Chang 5'8" | S Corona del Sol | 2027 State AZ continues to be a huge piece of what keeps Corona competitive, using her quick tempo, smart decision-making, and ability to run an offense with confidence.

Emma Caldwell Emma Caldwell Emma Caldwell 6'2" | MB/RS Arizona College Prep | 2027 State AZ has been a force at the net this season, and the numbers back it up.

Shia Chancellor Shia Chancellor Shia Chancellor 5'11" | RS/OH Willow Canyon | 2027 State AZ is making a statement in her final season at Willow Canyon, and her impact can be seen across multiple areas of the stat sheet.

She stays involved in off-blocker defense, works to cover tips, and remains engaged even when she isn't the player getting the swing. That willingness to do the little things, combined with her ability to score, block, and create pressure from the service line, has made Chancellor an important piece of Willow Canyon's success and a senior who is finishing her high school career strong.
