Left handed setters change the geometry of a match and [player_tooltip player_id='359399' first='Kamryn' last='Mullican'] knows how to use that advantage. The Hebron senior can attack on two with her dominant hand, which forces opposing middles to stay home instead of releasing to the pins. That opens up everything for her hitters. She has 1,077 assists at 9.8 per set this fall. As a junior she was named District 5-6A Setter of the Year after posting 917 assists and nearly 200 kills. She also passed 2,000 career assists early in that season. Her hands are clean and she keeps her middles involved even when the pass is off the net. She is no liability on defense either and was second on her team with 286 digs a year ago. In a win over Wakeland this fall she set a career high with 52 assists to go with 14 digs. She calls adjustments on the fly and a college staff will be able to trust her with the offense early. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

Natalia has played more sets than anyone else on this list and she has been a workhorse in every one of them. The Clear Lake senior has 1,040 assists through 120 sets. Her work in the back row is just as impressive. She had 40 assists and 26 digs in a win over Clear Falls. Her season best came against Barbers Hill when she put up 64 assists while adding 18 digs. That kind of defense from a setter is rare. She reads the hitter early and gets into position to transition to the net to run the offense. Her hands are steady and she delivers the ball to her pins on a consistent plane. A program looking for a scrappy setter who will never give up on a ball should take a long look. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

Clifton reached the first state title game in program history last season and [player_tooltip player_id='1053243' first='Madison' last='Otter'] was running the show. She has been the starting setter since her freshman year. The senior now has 1,028 assists at 10.0 per set and more than 3,900 for her career. Her best game this fall came against Lorena when she had 45 assists and 13 digs in a five set win. She told KWTX in an interview that her favorite part of the job is watching her teammates succeed and that selfless approach shows in how she spreads the ball around. Her coach summed it up by saying the team goes wherever Otter takes it. She is also a tough server and a dependable defender for her size. Otter carries a 4.0 GPA and is on track to be class valedictorian, which tells you plenty about her discipline. She has one goal left before she graduates and that is the first state championship in program history. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.
