I've had the chance to watch these girls throughout the club season, and one thing keeps popping up. They just keep getting better and better. It seemed like every tournament was a step forward, whether it was in confidence, in making better volleyball decisions, or in finding different ways to impact a match. Their games were nothing like how they were just a few months ago, when championship season came around.

What I love most is when the players begin to piece it all together. You can see the game starting to slow down; the transitions are cleaner, the first touches are more consistent, and players are making plays that help their teams win, even if those plays don't always show up on the stat sheet. "And that is just what this group has done.

The championships are finished, but I feel like we just started to open up these athletes. They've been building momentum all season long, and from what I've seen over the past several months, these are players I'll be following because I don't think their best volleyball is behind them; it's just beginning.

[player_tooltip player_id='827278' first='Margo' last='Kiely'] has gotten better every time I have seen her play this season. She's turned into a pinch hitter who can score in many different ways, whether she's attacking in rhythm or asked to finish when the offense is out of system. She's patient against a disciplined block, achieves to a high contact point, and does an impressive job working deep corners and high hands instead of giving defenders the same swing. She's still available in transition, which is also huge, giving her setter another option throughout the match. One of the main reasons she continues to stand out is her ability to create points without being predictable. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='753324' first='Quinn' last='Denke'] is one of those hitters who change games long before the stats reflect it. Since being moved to the pin, I was informed that Quinn is hitting at a .545 percentage. She is always above the net, closing fast to either pin or slam her hands across the tape to shrink attacking windows. What I've been most impressed with all season is how well she goes from block responsibility to offense. She gets off the net quickly, is available on first-tempo sets, and makes opposing blockers commit. Quinn has become the kind of hitter who touches every part of the front row. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='939103' first='Lauren' last='Abrahamson'] continues to distinguish herself with the little things that winning middles do. She's good laterally, does an impressive job of sealing seams with her pin blockers, and knows how to take a good angle without overcommitting. As soon as her team gets a dig, she's already thinking about another quick-tempo option before the defense can recover. Her ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball has only improved throughout the season, making her one of the more complete middles I have watched. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

[player_tooltip player_id='630730' first='Teagan' last='Hartman'] has grown into a complete outsider who enjoys all the responsibilities of the position. She comes out swinging from the left pin, but it's her ability to handle tough situations that sets her apart. She adjusts to the block, keeps the ball in front of her shoulder, and finds ways to finish without forcing low-percentage swings. She also keeps fighting through long rallies, moving quickly from defense to offense and providing her setter with a reliable option time after time. Her overall volleyball IQ has taken a noticeable step forward this season. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Mya VanLuik has become one of the more dynamic pin hitters I've seen this season. She plays with an aggressive mindset but controls herself, attacking from a high-contact point and applying pressure to the defense from the first swing to the last. What I keep coming back to is how complete her offensive game has become this season. She sees the block, changes speeds, plays different angles on the shot, and then keeps herself available after every transition. As the season has progressed, she has turned into the type of hitter opponents have to respect each time she rotates to the front row. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
