About Miley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a high school volleyball player with the goal of competing at the collegiate level. As an All-State and All-Conference player, I take pride in bringing energy, positivity, and leadership to my team every time I step on the court. My defensive mindset is one of my greatest strengths, finishing my season with 576 digs, while also contributing offensively as an outside hitter with 253 kills.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a positive, competitive, and team-first mentality. I enjoy encouraging my teammates and bringing energy to every practice and game.I embrace challenges, stay coachable, and am always looking for ways to improve my game. No matter the situation, I strive to remain focused, work hard, and lead by example through my effort, attitude, and determination.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively involved in both my school and community. I serve as the Secretary of my school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and am a member of both the Beta Club and FFA. Outside of school, I am actively involved in my church and participate in multiple competitive travel sports.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my involvement in athletics, school organizations, and my church, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Serving as FCA Secretary has strengthened my ability to lead by example and support those around me. Being involved in multiple sports has taught me discipline, time management, adaptability, and the importance of trusting and encouraging my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I have faced was tearing my ACL and meniscus during the first conference basketball game of my sophomore year. The injury ended both my basketball and softball seasons, making it a difficult experience both physically and mentally. After surgery, I committed myself to the rehabilitation process, spending countless hours rebuilding my strength, mobility, and confidence

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where volleyball is more than just a sport. I want to be part of a program that is passionate, competitive, and committed to success. Most importantly, I want to find a team that feels like a family, where coaches and teammates genuinely support one another, build lasting relationships, and push each other to be their best both on and off the court.
