has given St. Pius X useful versatility across the front row. She has played both middle and right side while producing as one of the team’s more consistent attackers.
Those two positions ask for very different things, and Courtlyn has had to adjust accordingly. In the middle, she has to move quickly and stay involved with the setter. On the right, she has more space to work with but also has to deal with blocking some of the opponent’s best outside hitters.
