Landry brought a steady presence to the court that became more noticeable the longer the showcase continued. As an outside hitter, she was constantly moving between responsibilities—transitioning from defense into offense, resetting after the play and staying prepared for the next opportunity. What stood out was the consistency of that effort. She did not appear interested only when the ball was coming her way. Landry remained involved in what was happening around her and continued working through each repetition, something that becomes especially important at a showcase where timing and chemistry are constantly changing.

That steadiness speaks to the type of athlete coaches can build trust in. Freshmen are still learning how to manage mistakes, unfamiliar teammates and the emotional swings that come with competition, and Landry showed an ability to keep moving forward instead of allowing one contact to define the next. There is plenty of development still ahead, but the combination of composure, willingness to work and an increasingly complete outside-hitter foundation makes Landry exactly the type of young athlete the Avoli Committed series is meant to recognize.
