Team Profile: Huron Tigers

After finishing 21-6 last season, the Tigers return the majority of their production along with some new pieces that add depth and variety to their game offensively. They still feature a handful of non-senior prospects that are that are among the Ohio Prep Dig rankings and that return after some competitive and high level action on the club circuit. This includes three all-league first-team selections in 2025 as well. The Tigers are currently 1-0 to start the season with their next match versus NDCL. Consider them to be a major factor come postseason in the Division V race to the podium. She is a 6'1 middle that is athletic in her movement and ability to get off the floor. What she can do in the middle phase of the game with the other pieces around her will be big again for Huron as she should draw a lot of attention given the potential quality and volume of production she can provide each match. The 1st team all-league honoree is an athletic and competitive floor leader with good quickness to get her hands on the ball often, even in tougher situations. She knows her hitters well and can get them into good spots while also balancing her distribution and their production. She has good versatility to be able to contribute in the middle phase and on the pins. At 5'11, she gets off the floor well and can apply good pressure on defensese with her arm, which has led to nearly 400 career kills after two varsity seasons. Her best output so far came in 2025 as the junior picked up 410 digs for a 15.2 d/m average as a big contribution to their overall success. She was impressive in their first win as she led the team with eight kills, an effor that saw each swing looking more confident and aggressive in her ability to put force and movement on the ball. Her physical tools match what others on this team bring as she moves well and can create good lift. The other impressive feature is her arm work in the air as she develops a great bow and arrow to open to the ball and develop ability to hit with torque and range.
