Sophomores Impacting Team’s Early 2026 Success

That effort has provided big momentum into the high school season for her for MND as she looks to lead her team to a successful finish through the tough slate in the GGCL and then another deep postseason run in DII, where MND's run ended in the state semifinals in 2025. At nearly 180 total kills as a freshman in 2025, her average has increased so far this season at 2.6 k/s to help the Mustangs remain unbeaten through six matches. An all-league and district honoree a season ago, her contributions are important to help balance Strongsville's offense going forward. She is finding early success in supporting their collective offensive effort as she is averaging 2.4 k/s. At 5'7, she is a fluid attacker in her footwork with the ability to be balanced in the air to make a good place on the ball with touch or a fundamental bow and arrow. With 14 kills in her first match of 2026, she recently earned double digit kills again with 10 as the Pirates remain unbeaten. Playing in a supporting role in 2025 as a freshman, she runs the offense for West Branch, which includes some key threats capable of scoring through different attack points. Ring gets to the ball well with high hands upon contact to be able to deliver quick tempo with good location while also able to force the ball to the pins to create balance.
