Simmons (pictured) has come in and more than filled in a need for the Commodores, efficiently running the offense. Simmons runs a variety of sets including pipes, involving a number of hitters. Simmons does not lock her arms and makes quality out of system sets. Simmons puts over a nice jump float serve and tips balls off and over blockers. Simmons has good range, continuously diving for balls. Simmons takes minimal steps to balls to make good passes. Her ball control needs some work, but that will come around with her work ethic.
