Who should be the top-ranked player for the 2029 Class?

These five players are good candidates to be named to the top spot when the initial 2029 rankings come out in December.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-crowdsignal wp-block-embed-crowdsignal"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://poll.fm/17501325 </div></figure>    Anderson moved in from California before the season and has made a huge impact for the Panthers. Anderson comes in off fakes and tools blocks on the outside. She has a high 9-11 attack point and makes a lot of things happen with it. Anderson can hit over and around blocks. Anderson sends over tough crosses and attacks seams with precision. Anderson mixes in tips over double blocks. Anderson also brings versatility on defense. Anderson is not afraid to lay out and make pancake digs to keep plays alive. Anderson makes the simple passes and is solid blocker.     Cannon is a fitting last name for the dynamic KIVA Red and North Oldham standout. Balls fly out of her hands like one. However, Cannon is not solely a striker. She strives to be a sound all-around player and it shows on the court. She sees the court and uses her IQ to pound balls into seams. Cannon even takes sizzling hits from the back row. Cannon uses her high attack point and a good vertical jump to pound balls before opponents can set up blocks. Cannon tools blocks and sends nice off shots to the back row. Cannon is also consistent on defense and serve reception. She makes the simple plays to jumpstart the offensive attack.     Millar has picked up her play over the season and the Devils have put the matchup nightmare at the net in great position to succeed. Millar has a sound four-step approach, extension and finish with her high attack point. Millar tools blocks and deposits back sets into the back row. Miller pounds out hard crosses with a nice downward trajectory. Her court IQ has tremendously improved. Millar sees the openings and finds different ways to terminate balls. Millar has also improved her blocking form using her size to form nice double blocks.     Hunt makes things happen in every aspect of the sport. She is a huge reason for two Holy Cross tournament wins this season. As the youngest of four in an athletic family, Hunt has a heavy arm and makes great decisions where to set balls. Her leadership on the court is also valuable. Hunt pounds balls from both the front and back rows and mixes in deceptive setter dumps if she sees the openings. Hunt also has a tough cut shot. Hunt even puts balls in tough places on her roll shots. Hunt has been on varsity since the seventh grade and attention to detail will continue to make her better as the season moves along.     Carroll (pictured) continues to be her consistent self on defense. She played a big role in helping Whitley County beat Christian Academy of Louisville and Lexington Catholic to win the in-season 2A State championship. Carroll reads hitters well and lines her body up to to balls then forms walls around them to make precise passes. Carroll does not hesitate to swing her arms out or lunge at balls, yet remain under control. Carroll has also developed a sizzling line drive serve to produce quick points.
