Class of 2030: Freshman Putting Up Big Numbers This Fall

May brings a great combination of size and athleticism to the front row, and the work she put in during the offseason is clearly paying off. She thrives in a fast tempo offense, getting up quickly in transition and doing a great job closing out to the pins. Defensively, her court awareness and ability to read opposing attackers consistently put her in the right position to slow down the ball. Polsgrove has quickly established herself as a go to attacker who can put the ball away in crucial moments. She helps anchor the back row while also serving as a go to attacker, especially in out of system situations. Cox is a staple on the court both offensively and defensively, showing impressive versatility for such a young player. What makes her impact even more impressive is that she spent much of club season playing middle blocker while still contributing in serve receive. Cheatham is a high flyer who brings size and athleticism to the court, pairing a fast arm swing with the ability to score efficiently in a fast tempo offense. Defensively, Cheatham has shown great timing as a blocker and does a good job taking away space at the net.
