Expert Analysis
Audrey Black | Prep Dig Scout
Cox is showing exactly why middles should never be put into a box. She is not just staying at the net and waiting for her set. Cox is already running slides and doing it with confidence. Even more exciting, she can pass and then transition into an attack. That ability to contribute outside of the traditional middle role adds another layer to her game. At the net, Cox also does a nice job reading the hitter and getting herself in front of the attack to make a block. For a young middle, that versatility is fun to watch develop.
