The rankings for the top 25 athletes in the 2029 class just dropped. Now, who can we expect to see next? I don't know who will be next in the rankings, but I'm expecting to see some of these athletes in the next few rounds. I am so incredibly excited to see how these athletes continue to contribute and see how much the rankings fluctuate throughout the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='853815' first='Addison' last='Lynch'] is another setter who has been advancing rapidly and still has room to grow. Lynch runs her offense with composure and accuracy. Although setting is her forte, she still knows how to put a ball away on the right side. Defensively, she is scrappy in the back row, takes up a good amount of the court, and can hold her own with a decent block. I definitely see a lot of potential with Addison and I'm curious to see how she continues to grow over the next few years.

When you're a DS, it can be hard to stand out at times. Especially with there being so many, and now coaches wanting their outsides playing six rotations. However, [player_tooltip player_id='780596' first='Audrey' last='Howe'] has still managed to stand out and take charge this season. Last year, Howe wasn't with the varsity squad, and fast-forward to now, she's taken the libero role and has gotten the job done. She plays with a grit unlike most, and you can tell she has quite the competitive drive. Howe refuses to let the ball drop without giving it her all every single time, and I think she really motivates her team to do the same. You can be successful without a strong back row to get the ball up, and I think Audrey has done a fantastic job of leading their back row.

[player_tooltip player_id='884220' first='Aubrey' last='Wehr'] has been a setter who has continued to impress me more and more each time I watch her play. You can tell she works extremely hard to sharpen not only her skill set but also her IQ of the game. A big switch I've seen in a short period of time from the end of club season to now is that she's gotten so much better with her ball placement and ability to read her opponents and make the smartest decisions based on what she's seeing on the other side of the net. You can definitely tell she has matured not only as a setter, but as an all-around player. I am very eager to see if she continues to flourish at this rapid rate and how she'll contribute in the off-season.

[player_tooltip player_id='754872' first='Natalie' last='Rausch'] is a powerful PIN and a major contributor to Hudson's program. Rausch remains a reliable piece no matter where she is on the court. She leads with aggression (in the best way possible) and with confidence in her abilities. Her serve receive is calm and controlled, while her swing is dominant and aggressive. I think Rausch has an incredibly high ceiling, and I'm excited to see her reach it year after year.

[player_tooltip player_id='883047' first='Hayden' last='Van Auken'] is a scrappy ds who has been starting to become more and more known as she continues to flourish in the back row. What impresses me most about Van Auken is her accuracy with out-of-system setting. She does a great job with her awareness of the court and always manages to set her hitters up for success. On top of her amazing setting abilities, she is also extremely controlled on serve receive and hones in on clean first-touch contacts. In defense, she is quick to react and great at getting her feet to the ball. I'm very curious and excited to see what she does this club season.
