These five have produced that kind of season.

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1051268' first='Chloe' last='Evanculla'] has become one of Georgia's most productive servers. What stands out is the confidence behind the line. Serving that aggressively as a sophomore means accepting that not every attempt is going to be safe. Chloe seems willing to create pressure rather than simply avoid an error.

That mentality can transfer to setting. The setters who eventually become difficult to defend are willing to make decisions instead of merely delivering the obvious ball. Chloe is still early in that development, but learning to play aggressively in one phase can help build the confidence to manipulate the match in another. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Senior [player_tooltip player_id='816019' first='Lindsey' last='Henry'] has been South Paulding's leader in kills per set. Versatility is what makes her season interesting. Those aren't three interchangeable positions. Lindsey has to alter her approach timing, her blocking read and the kind of ball she's expecting depending on where she's lined up.

The intangible that comes with that is adaptability. A player moving around the front row can't afford to spend two rotations adjusting mentally every time the lineup changes. Lindsey has to understand the game well enough to step into a different assignment and still look comfortable. That kind of flexibility can be easy to undervalue when we're sorting players neatly by position. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1051266' first='Chaise' last='Jenkins'] is listed at both middle and opposite for North Gwinnett. Chaise's positional combination is useful because it forces her to understand blocking from two perspectives. In the middle, she's responsible for reading the entire offense and moving quickly enough to help at either pin. On the right, she gets more time staring directly at the outside hitter and learning her tendencies.

That should make Chaise increasingly patient as a blocker. Young middles can chase everything. Experienced blockers learn which movement actually requires them to commit. The more she can pair that recognition with disciplined hand positioning, the less she needs a stuff block to affect the rally. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Senior McKenzie Wilkie has been the back-row anchor for a Cartersville team that entered October 32-3. The thing I like about McKenzie is that her role requires trust more than flash. Cartersville has enough offensive options that first contact doesn't have to become complicated. Her job is making sure the offense gets the chance to be as good as it can be.

That's where mature libero play shows. Not every ball needs a spectacular save. Sometimes the best play is getting stopped early, presenting a quiet platform and putting the ball exactly where everybody expected it to go. On a team winning this consistently, reliability becomes a skill of its own. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

[player_tooltip player_id='1051263' first='Ava' last='Grace Crump'] has been among Georgia's assist leaders throughout the season. Ava's value starts with repetition. When a setter handles this many second contacts, she doesn't get to rely on one perfect footwork pattern or one ideal pass. She is going to set while moving forward, backward, off one foot and after defending the first contact. Those are the uncomfortable reps that develop touch.

What I want to keep tracking is how deliberately she uses all that experience. High-volume setting can either create habits or create understanding. The next level of Ava's game is using the information she's gathered—blocker tendencies, hitter preferences, score situations—to make the offense increasingly difficult to read rather than simply increasingly consistent. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

This is the kind of group that makes rankings conversations more interesting.

Ava has enormous setting volume. McKenzie brings stability to one of the state's stronger teams. Chaise is learning to control the net from multiple positions. Lindsey can solve lineup problems, and Chloe has turned the service line into a genuine weapon.
