Chun provided a massive effort for Goshen earlier this week as she collected a season high 28 digs in their 3-0 win over Roger Bacon to open up the playoff season. The junior has been highly productive for three seasons at the varsity level as she has a career average of 14.7 d/m. Her preparation and vision help create her opportunities to play with good reaction and range of pursuit. Goshen, the Southern [program_tooltip program_id='431739' first='Buckeye' last='']-American champions are 22-1 overall. Ranked #11 in the most recent Ohio Division III poll, they will next take on Badin as these two teams are the #4 and #5 seeds respectively in the Southwest 1 sectional.

In her sophomore season, Romes has doubled her impact as she has terminated over 200 kills while averaging 2.8 k/s in 2026. Defensively, she has increased her net play to 3.2 b/m. She has been a bright spot all season building on her first postseason action in 2025 in which Kalida bowed out in the regional semifinal round to the eventual DVII state champion. Romes has big potential to grow her impact even more, which starts with their next playoff opportunity this season following her team high 17kills as Kalida defeated New Knoxville through a tough 3-2 result as one of the toughest first round matches. The #2 seed advanced in the Northwest 5 bracket and will next face #3 Ottoville.

Jones is a good athlete with a range of tools that benefit her across multiple sports. As a middle for Adena, the 5'9 junior can make an impact on both sides of the ball at the net. She has had a breakout season offensively as she has increased her impact significantly to a career high 5.2 k/s average on a total of 415 kills. Adena defeated Piketon 3-1 in DV Southwest 1 action earlier this week as Jones put down 24 kills, her seventh match over 20 kills this season. The Warriors, 13-8 overall, will next play Alexander.

The #5 seed in the DIII Southwest 2 sectional earned a solid win to open their playoff run. Carroll defeated Belmont in convincing 3-0 fashion as Dooley led the Patriots with 15 kills to help set up a match versus Sidney in the next round. The sophomore is an aggressive attacker with versatility to swing from either pin and out of the back row. She has been providing some of her best offense late in the season including a season high 17 kills in Carroll's previous win. Over their most recent four matches, Dooley has terminated the ball at a 4.5 k/s averaged over that span, well ahead of her season average of 2.2 k/s. That's a good sign for the Patriots as they advance.
