<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Oregon 2A state playoffs looks to be an excellent array of competitive teams and players from throughout the state. The top 22 schools in 2A are moving on into the state playoffs this week, starting tomorrow, Wednesday Oct. 28th, with the lowest 12 seeds battling it out to move on. The second round, plays on Saturday Oct. 31st, and will feature the 16 schools with the chance to make it to the final site. The top six schools that will await to see their Halloween opponents include, in seeded order -- Heppner, Imbler, Myrtle Point, Crane, Weston-McEwen and Clatskanie. Additionally, Regis, Crosshill Christian, St. Paul and Gold Beach round out the second round teams. A total of eight advancing teams will then earn their way to the State Tournament final site, being hosted for the 2A event this year at La Grande High School in Eastern Oregon on Nov. 6-7 (<strong><a href="https://www.osaa.org/activities/gvb/brackets">OSAA Brackets</a></strong>).
