Riverside is currently ranked #11 in DII with a big opportunity to advance to the regional final round this week. Zgonc has been a viable option for their offense all season as the 5’11 outside hitter uses her length combined with aggressive contact to provide 2.4 k/s. Her consistency has been important for the Beavers to help create some balance and force opponent to spread their focus. Riverside bowed out of the 2025 playoffs in the district final phase, as Zgonc has successfully replaced offense missing from a season ago due to graduation. The Beavers, 18-5 overall, will take on #19 ranked Lakewood.
