Evelyn Gates Award Prospects

This is one of the few times we will cross the state line to shine light on some players on the Kansas side. The Evelyn Gates Award honors the top female volleyball student-athlete in the Kansas City area. The winner is chosen by area coaches to honor a female official in the state of Missouri. We are going to highlight players on both side of the state-line who will be in the running for this prestigious honor. The award is generally given to seniors, so we will highlight seniors. The award was given to a junior once in its lifetime.
