Introducing 2024 Recruits #4-10

Like I said before, Oregon has a pretty incredible talent pool of elite volleyball players and the class of 2024 is no exception. These seven athletes are at the top of their 2024 class, keep reading to find out why. Being trained in the middle most of her career, she has begun to transition to the outside. She has a powerful arm swing and a high volleyball IQ. Last club season she was one of two returners on the Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy 14-1 National team and will be returning to OJVA and playing for their 15-1 National team. Puncochar also plays competitive softball for Wild Softball. She is attending Hillsboro High School. Incredibly athletic, she can play any position on the court with ease but thrives as a setter and attacker. Last club season she played for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy 14-1 National team,and will be returning to OJVA and playing for their 15-1 National team. She is attending Glencoe High School. Playing up to the North Pacific Juniors 15-1 National team as an eighth-grader, she did a great job of adapting to the speed of the game. She was an impact player for her club team both offensively and defensively. She will be returning to North Pacific Juniors but team selection is to be determined. She is attending West Albany High School. As one of two returners on the Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy's 14-1 National team, she was one of the teams starting liberos. She is bursting with enthusiasm, infections to her teammates, and is a quick defender with a great ability to read attack. She will be returning to OJVA and playing for their 15-1 National team. She is attending St. Mary's Academy. She oozes with potential given her sheer athleticism. She has a good arm swing and footwork. Last club season she played for NW Reign 14-1 but will be playing for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Club's 15-1 National team. She is attending LaSalle Catholic College Preparatory. Playing up to the North Pacific Juniors 15-1 National team as an eighth-grader, she took on a big role for her team. She was one of the teams starting liberos, alongside 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="91321" first="Sarah" last="Jones"]. She will be returning to North Pacific Juniors but team selection is to be determined. She is attending Cascade High School. The daughter of Lena Chan (professional volleyball player and Athena club director), she has grown up in the gym. She has exceptional court awareness which combined with her drive and athleticism makes her an unstoppable defender. Last club season she played for Athena Volleyball Academy's 14-1 National team and will be returning to Athena and playing on their 15-1 National team. She is attending Mountainside High School.
