Gould, the #1 right side for the class of 2024 and an Oregon commit, hits the ball straight down with her incredibly quick arm swing and her explosive approach. The left-handed attacker and NPJ 18 Forefront player has such an impressive hitting range, moving the ball from down the line to sharp cross court without difficulty. Gould also puts up a big block that stops opposing outside hitters effectively.

Gould, an Oregon commit, was imperative in Marshfield’s 4A State Championship win last fall. She was named to the 4A Sky Em all-league first team, the all-state first team, and was dubbed the 4A Co-Player of the Year. The lefty attacker is an incredibly dynamic player; she can hit from anywhere on the court, and she has been utilized by her teams, including the formidable NPJ 18 Forefront team, on both pins and in the middle. Gould’s quick approach, her fast, powerful arm swing, and her ability to drill the ball down the line or cross court make her nearly impossible to defend against. The Pirates will be relying heavily on Gould once more this fall.

Gould is a talented attacker who has shown considerable improvement this club season with NPJ 18 Forefront. Although court time was limited at Regionals, playing behind some phenomenal 2023 pin hitters, she took advantage of the time she did get. A leftie, she shines on the right side. With a high vertical jump and an explosive approach, she is able to obliterate at all the angles.

Gould is another one of the team’s out-of-town pick-ups, coming from Marshfield, which is a 6-hour round trip commute to the NPJ practice facility and back. However, she is used to that sort of grind. Previously playing club for Webfoot in Eugene she had to make a similar commute. However, Gould’s sacrifice to seek out the best training no matter the distance has paid off, as Gould recently committed to play for the University of Oregon. She has risen to the top of the 2024 class, currently sitting at #5 overall. A left-handed attacker, she thrives on the right side. She has an impressive vertical jump and a fast arm swing. Only a junior, Gould still has two club seasons to prepare for her PAC-12 debut.
