<p>Promising volleyball players have been standing out all over the state of Washington. From North to South, and East to West, talent abounds in the Evergreen State with young prospects consistently climbing the volleyball ladder in different areas of the state.</p>
<p>With that in mind, we’re starting a series that will highlight some of the most promising Washington players according to their positions, classes and regions. In today’s article, we’ll present you to three outside hitters from the 2023 class who have been turning some heads in the Everett region.</p>

<p><strong>Isabella Christensen – HS: Lake Stevens – Club: Washington Volleyball Academy</strong></p>
<p>Isabella Christensen is a powerful outside hitter who carries the offensive load of both her high school Lake Stevens and her club team Washington Volleyball Academy. Her 6’1” frame certainly helps but Christensen has clearly put a lot of work on her craft as she has a wide variety of shots and is equally effective (and powerful) from either the right of the left sides. Her angle hit from the right is a beauty to watch as she quickly approaches to meets the ball between the setter and the pin and unleashes all her power on it.</p>

<p><strong>Peri Hoshock – HS: Everett – Club: Washington Volleyball Academy</strong></p>
<p>Standing at 6’1”, Peri Hoshock clearly has the size and the strength to simply power through opposing blockers but she often decides for the simpler solution and just places the ball on an empty spot with her great technique. Hoshock is particularly good with her decision-making in out-of-system plays, when she has an extra second to evaluate her options. She’s extremely versatile and can also play in the middle, where she’s a handful to deal with, especially when hitting the slide set.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97235" first="Liviya" last="Harrison"] – HS: Snohomish – Club: Skagit Island Volleyball Academy</strong></p>
<p>Liviya ‘Liv’ Harrison plays an important role for her high school team Snohomish as she wears a lot of hats for the Lady Panthers. The 5’9” outside hitter is an important part of the team’s offensive, having registered 45 kills in the pandemic-shortened season and also made the difference on the backcourt, where she produced a team-high 104 passes, 80 digs and 17 aces. She plays for the Skagit Island Volleyball Academy at the club level.</p>
