The PVL season has come to an end for 15s, 16s, and 17s, culminating in a two-day championship on May 14th and 15th. Who finished at the top?

In the 15s division, T-Street 15 Curtis took first overall in the final standings and at the championships. High flying outside hitter, Brianna Brewer, has been solid on the pin for them. Listed at 5’9”, this dynamic attacker touches 10’, takes a big approach, and has a great big arm swing. Mizuno Long Beach 15 Rockstar C finished 2nd at the championships and 2nd overall in the standings. Mizuno looked consistent all season, even playing up in the PVL 18s division for one tournament this season. Outside hitter Simone Roslon is another dynamic outside hitter to keep and eye on and has been very consistent for Mizuno. They have triple qualified for nationals this season. Tied for third at the final PVL tournament were A4 Volley 15 Alexis and Viper 15 Costa.

Surfside 15 PV Legends looked to be a contender in the first few tournaments of the season, taking first in all the PVL tournaments they played in but did not play any more PVL tournaments beyond the third PVL of the season. Despite not playing in the remaining tournaments, they finished sixth overall. Surfside has a big six rotation attacker in 6’4” outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id="188236" first="Kaci" last="Demaria"], who looks to be shaping up to be one of the top recruits in the class of 2025.

In the 16s division, Wave 16 Brennan took top honors finishing first overall the in standings and winning in the final tournament championship, with Mizuno Long Beach 16 Rockstar T taking second at the championships and finishing fourth overall in PVL. Wave’s, [player_tooltip player_id="162765" first="Camden" last="Bolane"], has been solid in the middle. Bolane takes big swings and works hard at the net. Mizuno and Wave are both headed to Indianapolis to USAV GJNC in the open division. Momentous 16 Dan finished third in the championships and second overall in the standings. A talented group, Momentous is headed to AAU nationals in Florida to finish their season.

In the 17s division, Wave 17 Juliana finished on top of the standings and in the championship tournament. They are led by Texas commit, Auburn Tompkinson. Tompkinson provides a big block in the front row, stopping hitters in their tracks. Wave’s libero, [player_tooltip player_id="162760" first="Koko" last="Kirsch"], is also impressive on the back line. The libero takes charge in the backrow, covers a lot of ground, and makes it tough for hitters to find the floor and score. In the overall standings, Coast 17-1 finished in the second spot overall in the PVL after finishing third in the championship tournament. Coast has a force to be reckoned with in six rotation outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id="160016" first="Claire" last="Little"]. The BYU commit is powerful in the front line and steady in the back line. Sunshine 17 LA landed in third in the overal standings. Wave and Sunshine are headed to Indianapolis for USAV GJNC while Coast is headed to Orlando for AAU Nationals to cap off their seasons.
