Paramount

How They Earned Their Bid - They took third in the Big South Qualifier USA Division and then received a reallocated bid from the Alaska Region to play in the National Division.

Major Tournament Results - They finished 13th in the Northeast USA Qualifier and 25th in the Sunshine USA Qualifier. At the Mid-Atlantic Power League they finished 9th in Raleigh and 3rd in Hampton in the 14-16 Blue age group. In Capital Hill Classic they finished tied for fifth. Finished fourth in the Chesapeake Regional Bid. In a tuneup for the Nationals they recently finished 27th in the JVA Summerfest.

Players to Highlight - The key for Paramount is their left sides 5’9" [player_tooltip player_id="192587" first="Adriana" last="Perodin"] and 5’8" McKenzie Dvorznak. Adriana won top server at Capital Hill and McKenzie was voted the top receiver. Both need to find the floor with their kills for Paramount to have success.

The 6’0" [player_tooltip player_id="181309" first="Brianna" last="Holladay"] is the 13th rated player on our 2025 Virginia rankings. She is the middle, reaching just over 9 feet in her block jump. That will reject a lot of spikes.

The setters are 5’8" Claire Mo, their lone 2026 player and [player_tooltip player_id="181245" first="Anisa" last="Flowers"]. This will be Claire’s second Junior National appearance (13’s last year) so the experience is there to set on the big stage. Both play back row running a 6/2.

Virginia Juniors

How They Earned Their Bid - It appears they inherited the Paramount USA bid for the Big South. They finished third in the Big South American and qualified for Indy by finishing second to Liberty Elite in the Chesapeake Bid Regionals.

Major Tournament Results - Finished 49th in the Northeast USA and 29th in the Sunshine USA Qualifier. Tied with Paramount for fifth in Capital Hill Classic. 37th in the Mid Atlantic Power League Raleigh 14-16 Blue Division.

Players to Highlight - The 6’1" outside [player_tooltip player_id="181300" first="Alexis" last="Ewing"] is the key to this team. She is the daughter of Patrick Ewing and shows enough skills for USA volleyball to invite her to their training team. Alexis is just one of three frosh to be selected to the Washington Post All Met team, earning honorable mention. She is 9th ranked in our Virginia 2025.

The 5’11" [player_tooltip player_id="181307" first="Leni" last="Stanton-Parker"] was voted the top blocker at the Capital Hill Classic. She has an impressive vertical (see photo above), flying high over the net. As a middle she is used in the passing rotation and plays a solid defense when given a chance to play back row. Definitely has the tools to be an outside.

[player_tooltip player_id="181285" first="Adriana" last="Aquino"] is used as a back row player but she may have the best vertical on the team. At 5’7" she could be used for a powerful back row attack that a taller player with less back row skills could not duplicate.

Metro

How They Earned Their Bid - They beat Paramount for third place in the Chesapeake Regional Bid with a bump up to the American Division.

Major Tournament Results - They won Capital Hill Classic, defeating Paramount in two. Finished 15th in Northeast Qualifier Open, 9th in the Windy City Qualifier Open and 14th in Sunshine Qualifier Open. In the Mid-Atlantic Power League they finished third in Raleigh and second in Hampton (14-16 Blue Division). Recently finished 9th in the JVA Summerfest.

Players to Highlight - At 6’0" [player_tooltip player_id="181303" first="Isabelle" last="Bardin"] has some length to be an impact setter. She was voted MVP at the Capitol Hill Classic and as a frosh played right side and set for state champion Flint Hill.

Outside hitter 5’11" [player_tooltip player_id="181763" first="Jada" last="Aksu"] is the other of three frosh voted to the All Met team. She has a strong, lefthanded swing that is perfect for the right side. That is her on the right.

[player_tooltip player_id="181282" first="Evie" last="Huang"] is a solid libero who used to play setter. Her sister Zoe is a setter for the University of Maryland roster and set for Metro for a number of years. Evie is opening her own path as a libero.

Virginia Volleyball Academy

How They Earned Their Bid - Finished tied for fifth in Chesapeake Regional Bid. Lost to Metro and Paramount. They appeared to get the trickle down as the other clubs moved up.

Major Tournament Results - 40th in Northeast Qualifier USA and fifth in Sunshine Qualifier Liberty. Finished 15th in Capital Hill Classic.

Players to Highlight - Audrey Sealock is the primary outside hitter. Jenna Hathaway plays both middle and right side but her strong left handed swing is more suited for the right side.

The setting duties are shared by Michelle Kim and Emma Adiaconitei. Michelle has a strong jump serve that arrives like a dancing bullet on the other side of the net.
