Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
We’re not done with Premier Nebraska 17 Black. The Windy City Qualifier champions got a lot of production from the middle this year, and we can’t forget about Hrbek’s impact at the position. She is a shutdown blocker whether she’s in the middle or on the right–and Hrbek has done a lot of both throughout her career. The high school season at Elkhorn North is next on the agenda. The Wolves have a bit of roster turnover this year, but Hrbek will be ready to fill the void.

Hrbek helped Premier 17 Black lock up one of the club season’s most impressive feats: a Windy City division title. The late-March event showcased Hrbek’s game-changing ability as a shutdown blocker. She gets hip-to-hip with her teammates and delivers an impenetrable seal along the tape. Moreover, Hrbek’s quick arm was always an in-system option for 17 Black’s balanced, fluid offense. GJNC is a perfect venue to cap off Hrbek’s special 2024 season.

Finally, this feature wraps up with a familiar name who is due to keep climbing. Hrbek is rising up the 2025 hierarchy at the middle blocker spot, following in the footsteps of her older sister in the 2023 class. Premier 16 Black has leaned on this physical attacker often, and Hrbek has delivered in so many ways already. Elkhorn North is surely ready to reload, too.
