About Reagan
Expert Analysis
Chris Fitzgerald | Prep Dig Scout
After watching Creighton volleyball the past couple of seasons and their rise to being an elite eight team, Reagan Wallraff is going to fit right in with their brand of attacker. She has flashes of Creighton greats Ava Martin and Norah Sis with how she is a big leaper, contacts high, and is so smooth with movement. She uses her angles effectively, taking what the defense gives her. With her skill set, upside, and the program at Creighton she has all the makings to be a super star at the next level and beyond.

Watch out for Nebraska One 17 Synergy. They have the top three prospects from Nebraska’s Class of 2027 and one of the top 2028s in the country. Reagan Wallraff will stay close to home as she gave her verbal to Creighton this past summer. What a pick up for the Bluejays as they continue to pull in top instate athletes. Wallraff makes for quite a combination with setter Malorie Boesiger who is committed to Nebraska. I would say this team is is one of the more dangerous matchups all weekend at NLQ. They can pass, dish, and terminate from all positions on the court.

Most observers would expect this Creighton commit to be a standout among her tournament peers. Still, Wallraff managed to exceed expectations with a 22-kill performance in just three sets against Bennington. Elkhorn North allowed Wallraff to exhibit her full range on the outside, middle, and on ‘rip’ sets in the gap. She scored from anywhere en route to the quarterfinal victory.

Wallraff has remained our top-ranked player in Nebraska’s Class of 2027, and that’s after lighting up the scoreboard at two different positions. We now know Wallraff for her high-flying kills on the left side, but we’re not far removed from her tenure as a first-year middle blocker for Elkhorn North. Wallraff was among Nebraska’s most efficient attackers as a freshman and has accomplished the same as a full-time outside hitter. She does it all.

Wallraff’s transition from the middle to the outside was as smooth as Elkhorn North could have hoped. The high-flying attacker remained near the top of Nebraska’s overall kill leaderboards with over 550 during the regular season. Wallraff also showcased her repertoire across the back row this year–a rare feat for a converted middle blocker. We’ll likely see this pin role take precedence when Wallraff represents next year’s new-look Nebraska ONE 16 Synergy squad.
