Expert Analysis
Amy VanGuilder | Prep Dig Scout
Brandmeyer is ruthless and quite simply, hard to stop. I watched teams try to take her out of play by serving at her which they quickly found did not work. Brandmeyer cannot only pass, but she is quick, transitions swiftly, and made teams pay by hammering down the line or with her sharp cross off of the pass. Clearly a go-to attacker, Brandmeyer read the court well and racked up numerous points for her team.

I hadn’t seen Brandmeyer play until the opening of club season. I’ve scouted her at three more events since that Six Pack tournament. She’s every bit of the 6-foot-1 at which she’s listed with long arms. She combines those assets with agility and athleticism. The pieces are in place for bright future as she adds strength and improves technique through more reps. Some college is going to be really pleased they gave this kid a chance.

Brandmeyer stands out for her versatility in playing well across all of the front row positions. Her length and athleticism shines through at the net whether she’s swinging with authority or serving as an obstacle for the opponent’s attack. She sees the play developing and puts herself in spots to deliver for her team. She fits in really well with this Iowa Power squad.
