Crowley and her Provivence Classical team finished in 11th place, having won three matches and lost two. Doubling up as a setter and right side hitter, she was a key piece in the team, contributing to their play in different areas of the game. Crowley was elite offensively, using her reach and excellent technical skills to diversify a lot with her swings, having great success every time she went up. The senior also thrived with her ball-handling, using her team’s solid offensive options with great intelligence and balance.

Crowley and her TAV Houston 17 Adidas side finished in the top ten, in ninth, with three wins and five losses. She was one of the team’s main offensive weapons and responded well, scoring at a good rate and, perhaps most importantly, delivering in the big moments. What sets Crowley apart from most players in the position is her combination of physicality and finesse. She can hit with tremendous power, as she did, especially when set a quick ball on the right, but is also incredibly precise with her locations and with how she finds ways to beat blockers.

Crowley will be on the court with her team TAV Houston 16 Adidas this week in Dallas. Few players in her position and age group are as complete as she is, combining physical, technical and mental skills so well. A six-footer, Crowley has a lot of power in her game, and at times turns to it to put the ball down, but she’s also very smart with her decision-making and has the technical skills to beat blockers and defenders in a variety of ways. Her all-around game makes of her an even more interesting prospect as she can pass and play defense at a high level too.

Crowley and her TAV Houston 17 Adidas team will fight for a berth in the 16 Open division. She’s one of the pillars of the team, playing with extreme efficiency on the right. Crowley is very explosive offensively and has the physical and technical tools to punish blockers who leave the line open with hammers, but also to find ways to score against well-organized defenses with her quick right arm. Although her offense is typically what stands out the most in her game, she’s an extremely well-rounded player, who blocks, passes and even sets at a high level.

The explosive Crowley will be a good scoring option for TAV Houston 16 Adidas on the right. She plays with great intensity and that shows every time she goes up at the net to swing. Crowley has a heavy, it very fast right arm, and has all the shots to beat blockers and defenders at the net. More than a point-scorer, she’s a very interesting all-around prospect, who wears a lot of hats for her high school team Providence Classical and even won the District’s MVP award in her freshman season.

Crowley is another talented right side I saw in action at the FAST Warm Up, with her strong TAV Houston 15 Adidas team. One of the first things that stood out to me was how brave and aggressive she was at the net, going with everything to every ball she was set. But she’s not just a heavy-hitter, that swings with power no matter what, as she’s very intelligent with her shot selection and very rarely gets stopped at the net. Despite her offense being the most prominent part of her game, Crowley is a real all-around player, who can pass and play defense and even got to set for her high school team as a freshman.

Crowley’s progress as a player was on full display as she played for division winners TAV Houston 15 Adidas. Her offensive potential couldn’t be more evident when I first watched her play in December, but it feels like she’s quickly learned the best ways to use her physical and technical tools to score over the last few months. Crowley’s firepower and her high contact point are still her main assets at the net, but she’s become more consistent with her offense and has significantly increased her efficiency when hitting out-of-system sets. She’s made great strides with her blocking too.
