The talented Koch was a key piece in the Katy United 17 Adidas team that finished first in the Gold Division. Her excellent ball control made a difference in serve-receive for the team, allowing the setters to operate in system most of the time and giving stability to the team. Koch was also used at a fairly high rate on offense and displayed some interesting versatility, scoring at a good rate from the left, the right and the back. She also had some good serving runs during the tournament.
