We can’t wait to have some of the top prospects from the area with us at the gym and will use the days leading up to the event to present some of the most talented players who will be on the court on Saturday. These five outside hitters certainly have what it takes to put on a strong performance at the event.
Coleman is not only one of the top players in our event, but also one of the best in the entire state in her class. Also a track and field student-athlete, she’s tremendously athletic and that shows in her game as she’s capable of doing things that not many others would. A fantastic jumper, she has an excellent arm swing and can score from anywhere on the court. Very dynamic, Coleman is also extremely talented when it comes to passing and playing defense.

Coy showed great promise in her freshman high school season as she immediately became a key piece for her George Ranch team. Extremely explosive, she’s an excellent offensive player, who’s capable of scoring from either side of the net using power or finesse. Coy is also a solid blocker, doing a great job in protecting the area of the court she was assigned with her arms. She also displayed some good backcourt skills which will only improve with time.

The younger sister of Texas A&M commit Bianna, Muoneke displayed a really solid game last weekend at the FAST Warm Up. She has great size and athleticism and used it tremendously well to make plays and score points. Muoneke proved to be a very productive hitter from the left and the right, making sure she contacts the ball at a very high point and hitting it hard every time she was set. Her blocking was something that also stood out to me as she uses her long arms well to press opponents and has excellent timing with her movements. She’s also working on a top spin jump serve that’s already very consistent and will only get better.
Valt is an outside hitter that typically plays a central role in her teams. That’s because she’s a very talented offensive player who doesn’t shy away from the big moments and is always ready to make a play. She’s quite long and can hit the ball hard from the left or the right. Also a solid passer, she can hit quicker or higher sets and does a very good of picking her shots to score, be it going around the block or tooling it.
Highlights
Koch is one of those outside hitters who make their teams better with their ability to do a lot of things well on the court. Her game isn’t necessarily the flashiest, but it’s quite effective as she makes an impact in a lot of different ways. Koch is very smart with shot selection and can also play on the right. She also constantly makes good plays on defense.
