The likely successor for the primary setting role at St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, Venard has big potential to be an impact setter over the remainder of her prep career and into the next level. She has good size for the role at 6’0 and has a good foundation in a full range of skills in her distribution, net play, and defense in the back row.

Grace is one that is keeping the long lineage of impact liberos in tact for NKYVC. The 5’5 sophomore played in 107 sets this high school season for Notre Dame Academy, the Kentucky state champions, averaging 2.4 digs per set. Her defensive preparation with balance and stability allows her to make big plays with great range of court coverage and good angle awareness and production.

An Honorable Mention selection in the GCL this season, Perkins continues to grow her game at the net to be an impact prospect on both sides of the ball. The sophomore led the conference in total blocks with 86 while also finishing top-15 offensively as she averaged nearly two kills per set. Perkins can create a high contact point and generate good pace when on time and balance.
Rylee Hood – 2023 | OH/S
Hood, a senior, competed for Holy Cross this recent high school season and brings good versatility with her skill set. Having spent time as a setter in previous years, she also has good hops off the floor to take a healthy swing at the net. An area of her game that has improved and where she can make a good impact at the next level is in her ball control and defense. For Holy Cross, she averaged 2.3 k/s and 8.1 d/m.
Hannah Dannenberg – 2025 | DS/L
Dannenberg is another good defensive specialist prospect out of NKYVC. With good skill foundation in her footwork and angle production she has potential to be an impact athlete in this role with more competitive experience and increased confidence. Just a sophomore, she is one to get a good look at with the upcoming club season.

The best defensive specialist for NKYVC’s top 15U team, which competed extremely well this past club season, Frietch has big game. Some of her best attributes are her vision and quickness, which allow react with good movement to pursue the ball and cover a lot of space with good control. As a freshman, she saw significant time on the floor defensively for one of Ohio’s top teams in St. Ursula Academy as she averaged nearly eight digs per match.

At 5’9, Goetz has good springs and quick lift off the floor when attacking. She has good potential as a six-rotation pin hitter and gained a lot of experience playing in over 100 sets for the eventual 2022 Kentucky state champs at Notre Dame Academy. She makes a club shift this season and will be competing for NKYVC’s top 16’s team.
