Janssen is an athletic multi-sport athlete and in early September she reached 1,000 kills in her Junior season. She can terminate from anywhere on the court and is a daunting presence on the net. Janssen will be a fun one to watch over the next couple of years.

Janssen is athletic, fast and explosive. She works hard in transition to make sure she is available to attack in every rally. Janssen has a commanding presence at the net and she is a consistent force patroling the net. She is making a change after playing for Kandi Elite 15-1 in 2023 she’s joined Southwest MN VB for the 2024 season.

Janssen seemed to start out a little nervous and tight but it didn’t take her long to warm up. And once she got going she just kept getting better as the session went on. Janssen has a nice high contact and very quick wrist snap. When she got into the middle positional she was running a clinic on how to get on top of the ball and I’m pretty sure I saw a couple bounce in front of the 10 ft line.

I’ve heard a lot of positive things about Janssen and how she is an effective and productive attacker. She runs a variety of routes and moves well laterally along the net on defense. I think MACCRAY’s ball control will get tested this weekend and I’m looking forward to see how they get the ball Janssen.
