Nebraska Elite gets on the board again. Fullerton’s late-season surge culminated in several breakout performances at AAU Nationals. She made her mark in the Nebraska Elite gym with well-placed shots and plenty of positive block touches. Elkhorn South’s strength has been in the middle over the past several years, offering a good mold for what Fullerton could become this fall. Perhaps the Storm will rise again in 2024 with Fullerton at the net.

The Nebraska Elite gym is stacked with physical middle blockers. Fullerton carried that banner for 17 Koa and anchored the M1 spot throughout most of the 2024 campaign. Her prowess was on display in Orlando as Fullerton produced several one-on-one blocks and similarly impactful kills in front of the setter. Fullerton’s transition footwork has also progressed, leading to several more opportunities to establish her attacking dominance. Look for similar trends to play out at Elkhorn South this fall.

Physicality will never be lacking for 16 Koa, and Fullerton brings a wealth of finesse to go along with that power.
