Premier Nebraska 17 Gold has no shortage of options at the middle blocker spot. Bringing Gregg to the fold has cemented the position as a strength, especially after she hit at a nearly 0.300 clip with Elkhorn South last fall. 17 Gold looks to take full advantage of Gregg’s trips across the frontcourt, and the GPR Bid Tournament gave further examples of this leadership. Gregg has the physicality, vision, and competitive drive to catalyze a big postseason breakthrough for her squad.

Premier Nebraska 17 Gold will likely leverage its strength in the middle as it takes on MEQ this weekend. Gregg should bolster that physicality and give 17 Gold a lethal first-ball attacker in front of the setter. We’ve seen Gregg consistently raise her standards, culminating in a near-0.300 hitting percentage with Elkhorn South last fall. A trip to Indy will test Gregg against America’s best 17s squads.

Gregg has been a plug-and-play lineup addition for Class A’s defending runner-up. She’s hitting nearly 0.300 on the year and has the strength and length to post up against any opposing hitters. That blocking prowess will be needed as the Storm battles Millard South in the quarterfinals.

Athletes on new club teams have become an unintentional theme of this feature. Gregg moved to Premier Nebraska 16 Gold this year and is building on the qualifier success she saw at the 15s level. Her physicality and strength in the middle have been a major factor in what was already a stout 16 Gold frontcourt. Gregg works hard to become an available attacker in transition and has added a few more shots to her arsenal. This is another case of a smooth transition for one of Nebraska’s up-and-coming 2027s.

Gregg is another middle blocker who has seen her share of elite battles on the club circuit. Her 2024 campaign with Premier Nebraska placed her on our early watch lists, so her rise into the rankings is no surprise. The Elkhorn South sophomore jumps to Premier Nebraska 16 Gold this spring, marking a big milestone in Gregg’s career progression.

We have a lot of players to choose from off the Premier Nebraska 15 Black. It’s hard to ignore what this team accomplished as soon as the 2024 club season started, and Gregg was central to that hot start. She gave 15 Black a high-flying weapon in front of the setter. This persisted whether the team was transitioning from a dig or working a first-ball situation. Gregg’s tireless effort and great technique helped embody what made 15 Black so successful in the USAV race. Now, the game-changing middle blocker will bring those skills to Elkhorn South.

This certainly isn’t the first time we’ve brought up Gregg’s name this year, but this is her debut in the 2027 watch list. She’s a no-brainer addition after helping Premier 15 Black win the 15 USA title at NLQ. Gregg’s physicality helped 15 Black match up with any of the hard-hitting squads it faced–and we saw plenty of talented hitters in Minneapolis. Speaking of hitting, Gregg is also a major transition scoring threat who will always assert herself in front of the setter. We’ll see more from Gregg this year, right up to this summer’s stay at GJNC.
