Jenna Tello – Austin Performance 14 Adidas – 2027
Jenna’s intangibles on the court were equally as noticeable as her physical play. She has an easy confidence on the court. She is relaxed in base and explodes into action on defense. She makes it her mission to stop any ball from hitting the floor on her side of the court. She is a fun athlete to watch and one that is already playing at a very high level.
Miranda Clark – Alamo – 2026
Miranda was so talented on defense and in coverage. She was always ready and was very disciplined in her movement. She played every point like she was competing for a national championship and elevated the play of athletes around her. Miranda communicated well with whoever she was on the court with and was super scrappy and quick.
Arianna Delgado – WPVC 15u AO – 2026
One of my notes on Arianna was simply, “She was everywhere.” That really sums up her style of play. Nothing gets past her, and she will pick up balls that many athletes can’t get a touch on. Arianna reads incredibly well for such a young athlete and has phenomenal court awareness.
Kennedy Glasgow – MAVS – 2026
It was hard to miss Kennedy’s energy on the court at the showcase. Amongst 270 athletes, she stood out because of her positivity, energy, and play. She was learning the athletes’ names around her and then cheering them on throughout the event. She was mentally tough after an error and hunkered down to put up a clean ball the next play. Kennedy has a spark on the court that is fun to watch and very valuable.
Mackenzie Higgins – Elevation 15 Matt – 2026
Mackenzie volunteered during the showcase, which immediately catches my eye. That is tough to do in front of a convention center full of athletes who all play at a high level. As an athlete, I never would have been brave enough to do that, and I give these athletes a lot of credit. Mackenzie also caught my eye later in the showcase for her scrappiness and hustle on the court. She got great touches on tough balls and was dynamic and versatile across the back row.
Kiana Johnson – Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy 15-1 Gold – 2026
Kiana plays a clean game of volleyball. She has crisp angles and a consistent platform. Her communication on the court is next level, and she is confident running the backcourt no matter who is next to her. Kiana balances consistency and scrappiness well and uses her solid foundation and form to be an impact player in every play.
Maddie Mauser – Sky High 15 Elite – 2026
Maddie never stops working. She is hungry for the ball and has a competitive mindset on the court. Maddie reads opposing hitters well and is fearless in her pursuit of the ball. She is gritty and hustles on every play. Her relentless nature on the court keeps balls alive. Maddie was a Top Performer at the event and was a stand-out athlete.
Emy Miller Emy Miller 5'7" | DS/L West Bend West | 2026 State WI – I AM VBC 15 Red – 2026
Emy is an athlete I have had the opportunity to see play numerous times this season, so it was really fun to watch her compete among athletes from across the country. Emy is impressive because she is solid and consistent in everything she does. From serve receive to running down tips, she gets a great contact on the ball more often than not. Emy is an energizer on the court as well as a consistent force in the back row.
Chrisselle Reyes – Sky High – 2026
Chrisselle caught my eye at the showcase and then again on day 1 of nationals. She does the little things right on the court. She gets to base, is disciplined in her movement on the court, puts up a great out-of-system set, and covers her hitters. Chrisselle sees the little details in the game, which shows in her solid and consistent play.
Riley Schmitz Riley Schmitz 5'3" | DS/L Fox Valley Lutheran | 2026 State WI – FC Elite 15 Navy – 2026
Riley is another athlete that I have had the opportunity to do coverage on several times. She is an energizer on the court and always positive. She builds up the athletes around her and is encouraging, confident, and has a bit of fire in her as well. Riley has great angles and a really good foundation. She excels on serve receive and is absolutely fearless on the court.
Aviana Trees – Excel Lux – 2026
Aviana is a defensive dynamo. She threw herself across the court to make big plays. Her ability to read and react to even the toughest balls really impressed me. She had some crazy digs that made me think ‘wow’ on several occasions. Aviana was electric on the court, and her plays energized those around her.
Olivia Town – SD Beach 15-Premier – 2026
Olivia was insanely fast and impactful at the showcase. Nothing hit the ground without her having a go at it. She seemed to be everywhere and would run down even the toughest balls. She excelled in competition play, where she could show her great court awareness and volleyball IQ.
