Katy/Cy-Fair ISD Tournament – Five Players to Watch

An extremely productive defensive player, she makes difficult digs look easy because of her outstanding positioning and superior ball control. Volpe has provided Bridgeland with tremendous stability on the backcourt for years and will once again be instrumental for the team this season as they work to replace some important players who graduated. Very long and intelligent to read the game and react to it, the middle quickly earned a spot in the team's starting lineup and contributed strongly on both sides of the ball. Porter is incredibly athletic, swings tremendously hard and is excellent with her shot selection. Capable of playing on the left or the right, she also passes dimes and plays excellent defense.
