I am going to be taking a deep dive into the Prep Dig National rankings, with the lens on how many nationally ranked recruits college programs are bringing in. This also raises the question of "Is it better to have a high volume of recruits or one or two big fish?" Some programs just happen to have both. This analysis is based on recruits that are in our national rankings. Are there recruits who will be sleepers in their class? Are there recruits who will be added to the rankings and move in the rankings? Will there be international players coming in that will make an impact? Yes, to all of the above. Lets take a look at the programs who are bringing in four nationally ranked recruits between the Class of 2024 and 2025 based on the Prep Dig National Rankings.

Coach Christy Johnson-Lynch and her staff are bringing in a really athletic class where they are loaded at the pin. They are also continuing their pipeline coming up from Kansas City with [player_tooltip player_id='119708' first='Rachel' last='Van Gorp'] and Alea Gooslby who were both on the KC Power 17 Black team in the 2023 club season. These two are a lethal 1-2 punch where they can score points on both pins. [player_tooltip player_id='201020' first='Emily' last='Bobbitt'] is a fierce competitor where her level of intensity makes any team better. She was the QB1 for a really strong Triangle team in 2023. [player_tooltip player_id='117880' first='Mesaiya' last='Bettis'] might be one of the biggest recruits that Iowa State has picked up as of late. A top 25 prospect and the top prospect out of Minnesota has a major upside after being a key piece to the successful teams at Northern Lights.

Kentucky's Class of 2023 was one of the best in the country and outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye is off to a great start for the Wildcats. They will bring in more power at the pin from very powerful club programs with [player_tooltip player_id='359342' first='Hannah' last='Benjamin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='201017' first='Asia' last='Thigpen']. Benjamin is a terminator on the pin where she will find a way to score points. Thigpen is very similar where she packs a major punch and could be a big time athlete who can contribute in the front or backrow. This 2025 Class has a fun group with [player_tooltip player_id='179888' first='Kassidy' last='O'Brien'] who was one of the top setters out of Texas in her class, running the show for Houston Skyline. She is an all around player where she can be offensive when she needs to as well. [player_tooltip player_id='207810' first='Georgia' last='Watson'] is a long, 6'5 right side who had plenty of big time programs on her court at USAV Nationals. The Chicagoland kid has a huge upside!

Louisville has been hitting home runs with their recruiting classes and this Class of 2024 and 2025 will be coming from the Midwest where they bring plenty of athleticism, physicality, and an all around skillset. [player_tooltip player_id='110503' first='Ava' last='Utterback'] out of the Indy area was out most of the club season with an injury in 2023, but she can flat out fly - comparable to the likes of Louisville legend Claire Chaussee. [player_tooltip player_id='168149' first='Payton' last='Petersen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='215385' first='Chloe' last='Meester'] are two top prospects out of Iowa - actually the top prospects in their respective classes. Petersen is an all around winner where she has won two state volleyball titles and three state basketball titles. [player_tooltip player_id='288634' first='Hannah' last='Kenny'] is a high level setter and right side attacker where she was part of the 1st Alliance 16 Gold team who was second in the country this past summer. She will find a way to contribute to this team.

Michigan is riding high with their Class of 2024 where they will be heavy with attackers. [player_tooltip player_id='135954' first='Ellie' last='White'] and [player_tooltip player_id='122483' first='Ella' last='Demetrician'] are the top attackers out of Illinois and Wisconsin where they look like they could step on a Big Ten court tomorrow. White is so solid all the way around where she can set if needed, but why set when you can score plenty of points. Demetrician really made a jump in her game during the 2023 club season where her ability to terminate is elite. Hanes and Edwards will make a great setter/middle combo where they are accustomed to high level competition being apart of top teams in the country among their age group.

The Ducks are bringing top prospects from all over the country! This group fits in extremely well with the scheme of coach Matt Ulmer who is accustomed to a fast tempo and ball control. [player_tooltip player_id='109603' first='Mia' last='Tvrdy'] is a mismatch nightmare out of the middle where she is so terminal off one foot. [player_tooltip player_id='152943' first='Logan' last='Bell'] is a indoor and beach player who is one of the top serve receivers in the country. Mogridge who will be traveling across the country to play has such great footward and hands where she will be perfect to run the quick tempo to all of her attackers. [player_tooltip player_id='397441' first='Kenna' last='Cogill'] has the length and athleticism - along with a 16s Open national title that will bring great value as Oregon heads to the Big Ten.

The Vols are off to a really hot start to 2023 and that could mean big things for their current recruits and ones who are looking at Tennessee. [player_tooltip player_id='150065' first='Camdyn' last='Stucky'] is one of the top setters in Kansas out of Wichita where she will bring a lot of physicality to that position. Chapman is one of the top outsides out of Colorado where she has had a big run at Colorado Juniors who have always been a competitor at the open level. Sutton and Dostic will stay in SEC country coming up from the Tampa area. Sutton will cause a problem for the other side of the net with her block while Dostic is an electric scorer from the pin.

[player_tooltip player_id='142201' first='Jadyn' last='Livings'] and [player_tooltip player_id='142220' first='Favor' last='Anyanwu'] have been a power duo for TAV where Livings does her damage on the outside and Anyanwu has the blend of speed and power out of the middle or could even be used on the right side with her ability to block and terminate off one foot. Messer has done nothing but win in her career with her Dynasty team out of the Kansas City area. She is the type of athlete that will attract other top attackers to her court. [player_tooltip player_id='366845' first='Quinn' last='Loper'] is the local SoCal kid who has a really fast swing and will add to a really deep core of pin hitters.
