Helm brings a calm demeanor to the team. She speaks up when needed, but does not get rattled on the court. Helm had some monster kills and serves to set the tone in the third game. Her net presence forced opponents to hit some balls high or wide. She painted the back line on some kills. Her experience setting in club helped the Eagles receive decent swings when Scott went out of system a few times.

Helm (pictured) is looking to finish off her career on a strong note. Helm does a great job remaining calm under duress and encouraging her teammates. She can hit balls all over the court. Her role changed to setter during club season, but Sullivan said she will not set for Scott this fall. Helm constantly hustles on defense never giving up on balls. Helm said she worked on hitting balls to the back lines, her serving and defense during club season. Helm had 306 kills, 16 assisted blocks, four solo blocks and 87 aces last year.

Helm established herself as a solid hitter this past fall for Scott, but her role has changed to setting for the Tri-State Elite Gray squad. Helm has taken that bull by the horn and rode it to success. Helm gets her feet set and follows through with good form trying to put the hitters into successful positions. Helm excels with all different types of sets. Defensively, Helm always moves her feet and never gives up on balls. She can still smack balls when needed for the club team. Helm is also a good server putting balls where her coach instructs her. Helm remains calm under duress and constantly encourages teammates. Helm said she is working hitting balls to the back lines, her serving and defense during club season. Helm had 306 kills, 16 assisted blocks, four solo blocks and 87 aces helping Scott to a 24-16 record, a 37th District championship and runner-up finish in the 10th Region Tournament this past fall.
