Schweer has made significant progress with her consistency during the last year, a crucial piece to becoming a successful performer in the back row, where mistakes are magnified. Scouting her in person at the late-season Westide Invite in Cedar Rapids and again at the state tournament, Schweer was a key reason the Mustangs made it back to Coralville following major graduation losses from the 2024 state championship team. Keeping a rebuilding team regularly in system helps it gain confidence. Schweer succeeds with lateral quickness and quick reactions. She stands in well on serve-receive and is well-positioned against the attack. Schweer is small but tough, a kid willing to work for her dreams.
