Robertson rise was probably more of an oversight on our part previously. The Arkansas-bound pin was ranked 63rd prior to these updated rankings but is now in the top 5. Her potential is out the roof with her size and ability to terminate the ball.
The ability to see Anderson live a couple of times this year had me moving her up from her 47th spot to 12 in these newest ranking releases. She is an athletic and lively middle who does many things well, hitting both in front and behind the setter. She was huge for Lee’s Summit West this year helping them advance to the final four.

Another player heading to Arkansas, Alexis Anderson Alexis Anderson OH Blue Springs | 2024 State MO stock rose for me last club season. The way she was able to take over matches from the middle is something you don’t see often. She has a cannon of an arm and surprising opponents with how quick she can get off the ground. She was ranked 50th last year, up to 19 now.
Davis is one of my favorite success stories having watched her come back from the ACL injury a couple of seasons ago. Her rehab and hard work paid off with all-state honors and a trip to the final four. She has always been able to score offensively but seeing her growth in the back row is what helped her go from 32 to 21.

Johnson was a player who impressed me last year during the high school season. The jump she made from sophomore to junior year was one you couldn’t help but notice. She backed that up with a strong club season then another all-state year as a senior. Her increased shot selection over the last year allowed her to be more of a terminator this past fall. She moves from 44 up to 23.
Wattree is staying local and playing for Kansas City (UMKC) next fall. She had a big year for Lee’s Summit West as they advanced to the state tournament and finished with a third place finish. She was able to score for them on both pins and had another plus 250 kill season. 74 to 29.

This was the year for Lee’s Summit West to make big jumps with Mathis rounding out the trio we highlight. Mathis moved from the 58th position up to 39 in our final season. She was one of the defensive leaders with over 350 digs and 400 receptions. She also made GJNC all-tournament team last summer for her Mavs squad.
